YCP: Best Immigration Program For Skilled Workers
The Yukon Community Pilot (YCP) is an immigration program introduced by Canada’s northern territory of Yukon as part of the Yukon Provincial Nominee Program (Yukon PNP).
The YCP was designed to meet the economic and labor market needs of Yukon. Under this program, applicants receive a two-year open work permit, allowing them to work for multiple employers in one of the participating Yukon communities. After gaining work experience, they can apply for a permanent resident visa in Canada. The program was launched by the Government of Yukon in January 2020 and is set to run for three years, ending in June 2023. Applicants in the Yukon Community Pilot can work for 2 to 3 employers in one of the designated communities listed below.

The Yukon Community Pilot Program offers several benefits to immigrants, including:
- No Educational requirements
- No Language requirements (IELTS Not required)
- The job offer does not need LMIA approval (LMIA exemptional subsection R205a )
- A spouse can apply for an open work permit in Canada if the primary applicant receives a job offer under NOC Skill level O, A, or B.
- Proof of funds is not required.
- The applicant will be eligible to get a Canadian Permanent Residence.
- A job offers can be multiple part-time jobs from 3 different employers.
- YCP work permit will be valid for 2 years.
